Ashburnham Seeks Volunteers To Fill Town Board Vacancies

ASHBURNHAM — Ashburnham is asking residents to fill vacancies on several town boards and committees, with seats open until filled. The town also has mandatory outdoor water conservation restrictions in effect, and two free community events are on tap for the week ahead.

TOWN HALL Ashburnham officials are asking residents to step up and fill a growing list of vacancies on town boards and committees. The town's notice, updated July 1, states that the openings "will remain open until filled" and directs interested residents to Town Hall, at 32 Main Street, for details on applying to serve.

Separately, the town's mandatory water conservation restrictions on outdoor water use remain in effect, part of a seasonal order that began May 1 and runs through September 30.

COMMUNITY & ARTS Ashburnham's outdoor concert series continues Thursday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. in Winchester Park, when the band Finding Molly takes the stage for a free community show, according to the town's events calendar.

The town's Summer Fitness sessions in Winchester Park continue as well, meeting Mondays at 6 p.m. for residents looking to stay active outdoors.
