Ashburnham Sets Public Hearing On Propane Storage Licensing

Selectmen will hold a public hearing Monday, August 31, on amending the town's licensing for storage of liquefied petroleum gas and propane, according to a notice posted on the town's website, with the hearing scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 99 Central Street.

The town's public hearing on propane and liquefied petroleum gas storage licensing, posted August 18, is scheduled for Monday, August 31 at 7 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 99 Central Street. The notice indicates the hearing concerns amending an existing license, though further specifics were not detailed in the posting.

Town Hall also continues to list open job openings, posted August 19, along with the ongoing search to fill vacancies on various town boards and committees, a notice first posted July 1 and still open as of this week.

The Stevens Memorial Library continues to promote its newly released FY26-FY29 Strategic Plan, which the library says builds on its previous plan with updated objectives shaped by conversations with library stakeholders. Residents can review the plan on the library's website.

The library is also highlighting its Kanopy streaming video service, offering more than 27,000 titles including classic cinema, documentaries and indie films at no cost to cardholders, and is in the process of transitioning patrons from the retired Overdrive app to Libby for digital lending.
