Ashburnham Road Work on Harris, Stowell, Route 101 Wraps Up Friday

ASHBURNHAM — Road crews were finishing a stretch of work on Harris Road, Stowell Road and the Route 101 corridor this week, with the town advising residents to expect detours and delays through Friday, July 17, even as Parks and Recreation rolled out new summer programming at Winchester Park.

The town's News Flash service has advised residents since July 13 to expect detours and delays on Harris Road, Stowell Road and along the Route 101 corridor as road work continues through Friday, according to the town's website. No additional detail on the scope of the work was provided in the advisory.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Ashburnham announced a live aerial performance at Winchester Park in a News Flash posting Thursday, inviting residents to attend. The town did not specify a performance date or time in the announcement.

The town also kicked off a new Summer Fitness program at Winchester Park, with sessions running Mondays at 6 p.m., according to Thursday's News Flash post.

COMING UP

The Nashoba Associated Boards of Health will hold town nurse hours Tuesday, July 21, at 10 a.m.; Ashburnham residents may attend any of the health district's scheduled visits, per the town's website.

The next Summer Fitness session at Winchester Park is scheduled for Monday, July 20, at 6 p.m.
