The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Ashburnham Police Department's official public log for the period January 1–11, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Thursday, January 1, 8:52 a.m.–7:04 p.m. — Medical Emergencies: Three medical emergencies were reported; patients were transported to a hospital in each case.
Thursday, January 1, 5:53 p.m. — Arrest: During a motor vehicle stop, a driver was found to be operating without a license. Kelly M. Anderson, 39, of Ashburnham, was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Friday, January 2, 5:59 a.m. — Arrest: A vehicle struck wildlife; the responding officer found the driver was operating with a suspended license. Caitlin Mary Martinez, 45, of Winchendon, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Friday, January 2, 9:21 a.m. — Medical Emergency: A mutual aid medical emergency was reported; the patient was transported to a hospital.
Saturday, January 3, 2:40 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the patient was transported to a hospital.
Saturday, January 3, 7:12 p.m. — CO/Smoke Alarm: Police and fire responded to a carbon monoxide and smoke alarm; services were rendered.
Monday, January 5, 11:29 a.m. — Arrest: During a motor vehicle stop, a man was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Breton Joseph Flagg, 37, of Bennington, N.H., was arrested and charged on a warrant.
Tuesday, January 6, 11:49 a.m. — Disturbance: Police responded to a disturbance complaint; a report was taken.
Tuesday, January 6, 12:16 p.m. — Arrest: A walk-in complaint at the police station resulted in an assault and battery charge. Ronald J. Goguen, 64, of Ashburnham, was charged with assault and battery.
Tuesday, January 6, 12:44 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the subject declined transport.
Tuesday, January 6, 1:43 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud: A larceny, forgery, or fraud complaint was reported.
Tuesday, January 6, 3:38 p.m. — Arrest: A firearm-related investigation resulted in weapons charges. Laura Danielle Jackson, 43, of Ashburnham, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, rifle, shotgun, or ammunition, and improper storage of a firearm.
Wednesday, January 7, 12:11 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud: A walk-in larceny, forgery, or fraud complaint was filed; a report was taken.
Wednesday, January 7, 1:14 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A mutual aid medical call was responded to.
Wednesday, January 7, 3:57–4:17 p.m. — Medical Emergencies: Two medical emergencies were reported; patients were transported to a hospital in both cases.
Thursday, January 8, 1:15 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the subject declined transport.
Thursday, January 8, 1:51 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the patient was transported to a hospital.
Thursday, January 8, 4:16 p.m. — Arrest: A walk-in complaint resulted in a malicious destruction of property charge. Joseph Munger, 37, of Westminster, was charged with malicious destruction of property under $1,200.
Thursday, January 8, 9:22 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the patient was transported to a hospital.
Thursday, January 8, 10:01 p.m. — Missing Person: Police responded to a missing person report; the matter was resolved.
Friday, January 9, 8:21 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Accident: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident.
Friday, January 9, 9:28 a.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the patient was transported to a hospital.
Friday, January 9, 5:59 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; a police report was taken.
Friday, January 9, 8:21 p.m. — Medical Emergency: A mutual aid medical emergency was reported; the patient was transported to a hospital.
Saturday, January 10, 11:04 a.m. — Trespassing: A trespassing complaint was filed; a report was taken.
