Ashburnham will host its Celebrate Ashburnham Street Fair Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., town officials announced this week, giving residents a full day of community activities to close out the weekend.

TOWN HALL

The town's official News Flash, posted September 18, confirmed the Celebrate Ashburnham Street Fair will run this Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No additional details on vendors or location were included in the town's announcement.

Town Hall also reminded residents that its water conservation order, in effect since May 1, remains active through September 30, meaning outdoor water-use restrictions stay in place for another week and a half.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Stevens Memorial Library has been provisionally awarded a $20,000 Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. The award will fund "At the Table: Food Literacy from the Ground Up," a new library program aimed at building food literacy skills for Ashburnham residents. Library Director Jess Mynes leads the Stevens Memorial Library, which serves a community of more than 6,000 people in town.
