Ashburnham sets tax classification hearing for Nov. 16

The Town of Ashburnham announced Oct. 30 that the Select Board, along with the Board of Assessors, will hold a public hearing on the fiscal year 2027 tax classification.

The hearing is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 99 Central Street. It is being held under state law, M.G.L. Chapter 40, Section 56, to determine the percentage of the local tax levy to be borne by each class of real and personal property for fiscal year 2027.

All interested taxpayers are welcome to attend. Residents who cannot attend may submit written comments in advance to the Office of the Town Administrator, 32 Main Street, Ashburnham.
